i5laptop or i7

I have a choice between an Asus i5 laptop with 4 gb ram 2 gb graphics and a 500 gb Hardrive. Or I can get an Asus i7 laptop with 8 gb ram and 2 gb graphics and a 1 tb Hardrive which is 300$ more. Which laptop should I buy?

Need more information. What are you going to be doing with this laptop? What type of i5 and i7? What type of video card? We need a lot more info.
