Solved! IBM T21

Hello,
i have a ibm t21 two problems one sometime it wont turn on but i disconnect the battery for hours at a time and it will turn on is there a fix for for that problem

next problem #2 the fan is not turning isn't it supposed to turn all the time what should i do if its a problem

The only real solution for the first issue is to get the motherboard out of the case and build the machine back piece by piece until you find a configuration that doesn't power on. Then you've found your problem part.

The fan in your notebook should not run all the time - it only turns on when it has to in order to save power.
