For apps you have already installed...

1. From the Start Menu go to "Settings", then "System" and then to "Apps & features".

2. Find and select the app to move and click "Move".

3. Once you have verified the drive you want to move the app to, again click "Move".


For new apps, yet to be installed...

1. First insert a SD card, or other external storage device, that will be your new default location for installed apps.

2. Next, from the Start Menu, go to "Settings", then "System" and then to "Storage" (on the left menu).

3. You should see your SD card, or other drive, listed here along with your internal drive.

5. Go to "Safe Locations" and then to "New apps will save to". Select your SD card, or other drive, as the place they...

6. Then click "Apply".

Now all new apps you install, from the Windows Store, will be saved to your selected drive.

NOTE: If you remove or disconnect the SD card, or external drive, from your computer, the apps won't work. You will have to reconnect the drive to use the apps.
