"if you want to root an iphone, get an android instead."

This doesn't make any sense.

Does Apple get to sue twice, once for the device and second for the name? Since they think anything with an 'i' in the name beginning of the name is trademarked to them. They should register 'iLawsuit'

[citation][nom]jrharbort[/nom]Anyone else think the name sounds a bit suggestive? Surely they could have come up with a better name.[/citation]

Apple is releasing the Ipad here in a month or so.

Yep, Apple will sue and win only because the dock connector is proprietary. Get the iDong while you can, people!

Well, Isaac Asimov, wrote a book titled iRobot. Maybe people victimized by ilawsuits can use this as a defense.

@ Abrahm and hollowtek:

You guys are absolutely correct. People are such products these days. It's like: In an effort to be as individualistic as everybody else everybody is turning into an identical copy of a mindless money cow for businesses that spend more on advertising than on R&D.

Make no mistake. Kudos to apple for bringing the first fully touchscreen phone device to the market. It was about time! And they made a lot of cash with it, but the iPhone is hardly the best deal out there today.

And i'm sorry for those people who forked out the big money to buy an iPhone and would now like to have a more flexible device, but Apple is just too staunch to let this go on for long. Especially if they just bought it.
