if I delete my internal memory will my pictures be safe on my sd card

I am receiving a insufficient memory for internal memory. I was wondering if I erased internal memory will everything be ok on my sd card?

It should be but its best to make a backup copy incase of mistaken deletion.

When doing Factory Reset over your mobile phone, it just removes your data from Internal Memory of your Android phone or at least that's the case in Android. Your external SD card is safe at that point. Just in case something goes wrong, it is always important to backup before performing such operation.

Remove the card first, no worries about anything then. It will wipe out your installed apps if you do a reset which you'll need to re-install.
