If I have red, white, and yellow cable and the smart TV has no yellow hole then what color do I put the yellow in?

Many TVs share the component and composite video inputs. The green connector of the component video can be assigned to operate as the yellow composite video input but your have to set it to work this way in the TV set up menu.
