If more input voltage is given to the AC adapter, what will happen.

HP 150W AC adapter input ranges varies 100-240V. But, here 250 V supply. Due to this my adapter gets more heated. Whether it will cause any damage to adapter or to laptop.

Yes it could damage things, most likely the adapter. You should check to see if there is an adapter for your country for that model or if you can buy a transformer to convert the voltage to the right one for the adapter.

What country is this? I looked here https://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/plug-voltage-by-country/ and don't see a single one with a 250 V power grid.
