Looks pretty good, but then again....it's Halo =P. Bring me any average FPS on comp and it smokes the Halo series. Those people on dem der Xbox's and PS3's don't know what they miss. *Cries in corner for all the sorry wretches*

someday soon in game graphics will be this good. If it weren't for developers building games to the lowest common denominator consoles), we would almost be there already.

Halo is starting to get a little redundant, although I haven't tried the new Reach beta yet. Still, I have to hand it to Microsoft for the marketing, they do a damn good job.

I rather like the Halo series, as it attracts the 8-15 year old boys and diverts them from other gaming communities.

That way, I have less derp a herp lone wolf types in games like MAG and TF2 and more team work orientated players.

+1 for the mixed metaphor. People in glass houses sink ships.

[citation][nom]sergentsiler[/nom]Reach is gonna be kinda sad since bungie is jumping ship after it D: its gonna be like the end of an era, hopefully the people MS hired to take over are just as good :3[/citation]

A smart writer or creator of any Genre should know when its time to end it. After a while its nothing more than a bunch of rehashing prequels and sequels, reboots, and adaptations. Give something new a chance, develop some new interesting IP.

[citation][nom]CrazeEAdrian[/nom]Did it bother anyone else that Master Chief didn't help the wounded guy at all? I mean ya you have to save the world and all but, he was still alive... Could have at least asked him if he was going to be ok haha.[/citation]

Considering the countdown on the "device" and subsequent explosion, there was no time. He might not have had time to get out, with such short time on the clock, these soldiers probably know that by running this kind of football, they won't be attending any after game party.

[citation][nom]insider3[/nom]It looked like a football game on a battlefield.[/citation]

NFL should have airstrikes on the football fields, that'll spice up the game!

"He's at the 30! The 20! The 10! Oooohhh! And he gets hit with an airstrike and Terrel Owens is down!"

lol well to hope the 720 will manage that grapic is which full thinking but pc is getting quite close. get some great dx11 and a crysis 2 engine and your on a good way there. pluss if the new xbox only manage 720p like its name might sugest it will newer look as crisp as that video.

It was an alright teaser, but the teaser to Gear of War 3 was a lot better. Part of the reason being that the individual character in Gears 3 have much more personality, whereas the few characters you have in Halo are all pretty bland.

oh yeah i did actualy find it interesting that master chief did nothing to help the guy out. its a much much improvement its not a babys play date. maby they like to make the game good agen. it whos so sadly american i culdent like the 2and one at all. but i did like the first one.

The title should have been, "If only the game was as good as it looks." In the arena of FPS games, Halo lacks in precision, gameplay mechanics, and balancing issues. Let's face it, Halo has been trying to join the FPS arena, and it has simply failed. It is not fast paced, on your toes, quick thinking that is constantly demanding in games such as MW, TF2, CS, and BFBC2. In truth, when Halo was first made, it had the potential to be its own genre of open war battlefield (vehicles, turrets, base capturing, huge maps, etc). But, Halo didn't persue this train of thought and decided to try to be a run and gun. Don't misinterpret me, Halo IS ultimately a good game, but in comparison to other FPSs, I feel I can skip this game.

Kinda weird to see how behind Tom's is when you're following things closely. Or following other sites.

Great trailer though, shows some before the game story to let you see how some.. "things" happened.

I have to say that I'm really torn over Halo:Reach. Don't get me wrong, I do love the Halo franchise, but when you compare the quality of the graphics, it looks so last gen. I would love if it had the realistic look and feel of MW2 or BFBC2, but when you look at it, it looks sort of cartoonish with little backround detail. uggh.

If only, then it's be a crappy SP game, focused totally on MP (so you can tell your friends to get it too! deeeerrrrrpa homerun arbitor!) That is a prettier little snowflake then crysis.

I loved halo SP, it had the epicness that Unreal had where you were WALKING, travelign long distances, you had this feelign that you were actually going a great distance, ON FOOT (nevermind the vehicle sections) to get somewhere, and even the vehicle sections were filled with distance. Halo2 was all "urban warfare is teh r0x0rz!" and you didn't get that much of a feeling of epicness as it was overshadowed by constant battles in wreckage, and then it's story just went the way of little house of horrors.

I haven't played 3 and ODST was just another game in and of itself with the way it played (and hince was super unpopular because you couldn't "HOOOOOMEEE RUN ARBITOR! HOME RUN!" the entire thing) which was refreshing.

Ehh, I don't care anymore, I just want the franchise as it's known to die.
