Will this laptop be able to run GW2, Minecraft, Source Games at good FPS and be able to maybe record Minecraft at a stable 30FPS (Fraps to external Hard Drive)?
Also, is it worth it for it's price? DON'T tell me to get a desktop, that isn't an option for me

Laptop: Toshiba L850/046
CPU: i5-3210M (2.5 - 3.1 Ghz, 1600Mhz FSB, 3MB L3 Cache)
GPU: AMD HD Radeon 7670M (2GB DDR3)
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz (Will be ugrading to 8GB)
Chipset: Intel HM76
HDD: 1TB (5400 rpm) SATA
Resolution: 1366x768 (Will lower to 1280x720 when recording)

Is this worth it? It costs around $700-$800 and is better than all the competitors in it's price range where I am. I would like to record Minecraft maxed @30FPS and I'm fairly sure it would have no trouble at all doing the same in source games. Most other games I play can run on HD 3000 Integrated Graphics (my current gfx) so no issues there.

Thanks.

Will it run source games at a playable frame rate? Yes. I have a laptop with a Radeon HD 5650M and it can run all source games at playable frame rates, even portal 2.
Is it worth $700-$800? I don't know, probably. I would have expected a 7,200rpm hard drive.
Will it still run @ 30fps while running fraps? I doubt it as the mobile i5 is only a dual core processor and you have a slower hard drive (even though it's bigger capaity).

if you can push that budget to $900 then you could get this :
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834312438
It has much greater graphics card and surely will run all of the games yu mentioned.
If you cant then try find for this one (if still available where you're at) (sorry its an indonesian website)
http://www.bhinneka.com/products/sku01212820/lenovo_ideapad_z480_725.aspx

But the one yu mentioned should be fine, I'm just showing more powerful alternatives

*Edit*
forget above list I got these:
http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:category.details?current-catalog-id=12F0696583E04D86B9B79B0FEC01C087&current-category-id=6716C35E262487E9B548B6298FE58D3B
and
http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:category.details?current-catalog-id=12F0696583E04D86B9B79B0FEC01C087&current-category-id=5B0116E237099FA0FCA012D9B20ED2FB

Again I'm just posting alternatives, the one you posted is fine, but the HD7670 just isn't the best card for the price. And the i5 don't pack much power.

The Y500 is on sale on the Lenovo site for $879. Online only

It has I7
8GB ram
GT650m GPU with 2GB
1080 screen
1 TB drive with 16GB ssd

It has a ultrabay so you can buy a 2nd GPU if needed. Also on sale for $137

One GPU plays most new games on med to ultra. the 2nd GPU will allow you to play all of the new games on high or ultra.

LOL, copy paste and add online only. BTW the OP said that lenovos don't sell in his country, but probably it'll also be ok if the OP buys the y500 online, its not like i'm gonna suggest a y580 for an alternative.

He said "Don't think Lenovo sells in Australia, never seen them in any stores."

I have not seen any Lenovo in any stores I have been in(That would be one). I think Fry's may carry them. I got a Y500 online from Lenovo. I dont think the Y580 have SLI and there is one post about hight heat issues.

Some users may like the GTX670. The GT650 SLI is faster in supported games than the GTX670.

The link I included above gives more details.

Yes, your correct, the y580 can't do SLI. And as for the graphics performance of the Y500, well the 650m SLI does beat the 670m in supported games also a single 650M(gddr5) can beat a 660m if overclocked (becos the chip in it is the same.
