i am looking for a laptop. it needs to have good memory, cheaper than those high brands. im going to have videos gaming softwear and school files.

What is your budget and where do you live?

Basically all "notebooks" which come with 4 GB Ram pre installed can be upgraded to 8 GB at will by buying 4 GB laptop RAM module and getting it installed from one of the computer guys. Don't attempt to do that yourself if you are not sure how.
