I'm trying to connect my old bose DVD surround sound system to my new Samsung QOLED smart TV but not getting sound out of the speakers? The TV shows receiving sound under optical cable but nothing coming out of the Bose Speakers? ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Check if your Bose system has an option to switch the input to "optical" or "digital," and ensure the optical cable is firmly connected. If that doesn’t work, try enabling PCM output in your TV’s sound settings, as some older systems don't support newer audio formats.
