I'm trying to reset my toshiba laptop to factory settings but when I press F8 when starting up my laptop the choose repair your computer

I get the following message

The installed program cannot start, click OK to turn off the computer

Any ideas?

Same thing happens to me a few days ago also. While PC is booting press zero not on the num lock side but where the letters are multiple times pressing zero worked for me good luck!
