I'm trying to share a contact with another contact but won't let me send on messenger it comes up unsupported file format

I have a ZTE blaze I'm trying to share a contact info with another contact.But when I select it in messenger and hit send it will not allow it to send,and comes up unsupported file format.Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I was able to do this task before but now I cannot

And is it just choosing a name from your contacts list or a separate file. And if a separate file, then what kind of file are you trying to send?

Lastly, are we talking a text message from the phone or the facebook messenger app?
