Importing from Windows XP to 7

I bought a new hard drive, and installed Windows 7 on it. I was previously using Windows XP, and kept all of my old programs on the old hard drive with XP intact.

I am wondering if there is a program or if it is even possible to somehow import a few of my games from my old hard drive to my new one with Windows 7 on it. A few of the games were on my computer for a long time, and after moving I have realized I don't have every CD to reinstall my games on me.

Unfortunately, this cannot be done. Programs will have to be reinstalled.

Some programs "COULD" be copied over and work, but 99% of the time it won't work even if you going for XP to XP.
