help, one day we canceled the importing of our pictures onto our computer. When we retried it, it said that there were no new picture or videos. Ever since that, I've never been able to import any new pictures or videos along with the old ones. Please help me, it would mean a lot

Solution
It sounds like you were using some camera-specific software to import the pictures. I had that with an early Kodak digital. Try what webworkings suggested. That is what I do with my camera, smartphone, tablet. Or if you have a card reader in your computer you could remove the card from the camera and insert it in the computer, but the USB method is easier.
Have you tried connecting the camera to the computer via USB cord and then access the info on the camera like you would any folder on the computer? It should allow you to locate any/all images and files on the camera.

If u reading the camera/flash media like an external drive, may want to have the camera FORMAT the storage like new, assuming u have nothing to save.
