Hello,
I recently broke my old laptop, but just so happened that it is time for a new one. As i stated on the topic my budget is around 1000 less preferably. The size and screen res doesn't matter, although HD would be nice. The use for the laptop would be the usual web browsing and such along with heavy gaming. (Games like WoW, BF4, Diablo, LoL, GW2 and such.) If possible capacity no less then 750Gb. I reside in FL. Also i did some intensive research and honestly couldn't decide if i should stick with an i5 or i7? And you guys think it's cheaper to instead go with a custom laptop from the likes of Xotic/CyberPowerPC? Thanks in advance for the help. :)

Hello alexisd9025, :)

I have a wide verity of laptops for you to chose from. Just, make sure you understand that you won't be able to have maximum settings set for every game you play, or else you will have a very hot laptop and bad fps. around $1000 is the breaking point for good to great gaming laptops to appear, anything really under that is going to get you to set all the settings to medium - low and may not overall be very powerful.
Stick with intel when picking a Laptop because they run cooler and are in some areas, much faster then AMD.

Some manufactures I recommend are MSI, ASUS, Acer, and Dell. CyberPowerPC is not really trust worthy (in my opinion) because they just have a reputation to not have well built computers all the time. MSI laptops are currently may favorite because of warranty (warranty wont get voided if you upgrade CPU, RAM, HDD etc as most other company will), the compact designs they have, what keyboard is used (they mostly use a SteelSeries RGB led backlit based keyboard which is really good) and over all build quality. I recommend other manufactures as well but Since I am as well looking for a gaming laptop, MSI has been my pick so far (that and Acers V nitro series).

The first I recommend is the ASUS X550JK-DH71 Gaming Laptop
It has a great CPU (can't really find anything that much better unless you spend $2000+ on a laptop) and it has plenty of ram and HDD storage. The Graphics card is average in this price range, its a great GPU don't get me wrong, but then again, this is mobile gaming.

Another laptop, much cheaper but doesn't have as great specs as the last laptop is the ASUS ROG G53SW 15-Inch Gaming Laptop.
It's a lot slower in GPU performance as well as CPU, but it might just be able to play what you want.

This is the most expensive of the list, but because of that, it has much better performance then the rest. MSI GE Series GE62 Apache-002 Gaming Laptop
Its got great specs and will almost play everything on high to maximum (again, very dependent on what game it is, BF4, probably high to maximum, the GTX 965M is good enough to sustain FPS with 40+.

The second to last laptop is the MSI GE Series GE62 Apache-002 Gaming Laptop.
Its got great specs (very comparable to the best of the 5 listed here) and will, yet again probably hit settings around high to maximum (depending on the game)This is the best laptop you could get for the price, it breaks you budget, but it gives you an idea for gaming laptops and their speed to cost ratio.

Well, here is the last laptop, Its yet again another MSI laptop, but really, manufactures don't matter as long as the laptop meets your needs and is good quality.

Alright, that is the list of Laptop I suggest for the price range, hope I helped you find a laptop of you pick, good luck! 😀
