Inactive sim card

Have small lg flip phone and has a camera. It says unregistered sim. It is a new phone but I lost some of the paperwork right after I bought it at Walgreens. What can I do just to be able to purchase minutes and talk on the phone? I want to give to my son as he doesn't have one.

You need contact to the company that sold you the phone and explain the situation after that they can help you.

check the sim card in other phone as if it does not work in other than you will have to buy new simcard
