I have a hp spectre x360 with an intel i7-7500u with 16gb of ram for school. I try to play cs go and my temperatures get to the low 90s within minutes, even with a laptop cooler. I've tried everything. I set the resolution to 720p and caped the fps to 60 and it still gets hot. My laptop is quite new. I understand that it's not a gaming laptop and that laptops get pretty hot, but cs go is not that graphically intensive and the temps are insane. What can I do to make this game run on my pc with less heat. Is cs go just really CPU intensive for a laptop or should I try a different game? Thanks! Also, I posted this earlier but I didn't think it went through so I apologize if this appears twice.
