Inspiron 1200 wont boot

my laptop wont even boot up to the dell screen
i turn it on the led's blink for about 10 seconds and then it powers off
nothing on the screen no hard drive noise no nothing

help?

Presumably you have the power supply connected, not just trying to run on a flat battery ?

It could be that it's been powered down while in Sleep Mode. If that's likely, remove the battery and power supply lead and leave the computer to sit for 30 minutes. Then insert batter/and or power supply, see if restarts.
