integrated microphone not working

Hey guys,

I recently bought a new laptop "MSI GE60 20C-015NL". However i can't get the integrated microphone working.

The following i already did :
-i selected the microphone as default in the config panel.
-Installing new drivers from the MSI website.

Still it seems it ain't working, so any help is appreciated ;-)

Is it muted? Gotta ask cause sometime people forget the basic things. Also make sure what ever program you're using for the mic that it's pointed to the correct device.

It ain't muted and the programs i use are :

-Skype
-Dolby axon
-Teamspeak

The input device is correctly selected on all of those programs.

Hi, if you go from the control panel to sound, go to recording and microphone. You can test your microphone there.

Think you need to contact the company you either purchased it from or from the manufactor. If it's still under warrenty then don't waste time here and contact them.

Try testing the mic at different angles of opening your laptop screen. You might find it works when opened up a bit less.

I have windows 8.1 with the msi ge60 apache pro.
You need uninstall the application "audio realtek" -> restart.

[fr] Il faut désinstaller le pilote pour le son audio realtek.
