Someone I know wants to buy a new laptop for £430 at the absolute maximum. I have recommended an i5. Can you recommend something better than these, or if not which would you choose?
Lenovo G510 15.6-inch Laptop - Black (Intel Core i5-4200M 2.5GHz, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Intel Integrated Graphics, DVDRW, Windows 8 Home Premium)
The Lenovo says Windows 8 at the top, but Windows 8.1 where it is compared to similar, and under specifications.
Acer Aspire V5-473 14-inch Laptop (Iron) - (Intel Core i5 1.6GHz, 6GB RAM, 1TB HDD, LAN, WLAN, BT, Webcam, Integrated Graphics, Windows 8)
Fujitsu 15.6-inch Lifebook A544 Notebook - (Black) (Intel Core i5 4200M 2.5GHz Processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, DVDSM DL, LAN, WLAN, Webcam, BT, Integrated Graphics, Windows 8.1)
He is not very technical so if possible I would prefer one that already has Windows 8.1 pre-installed as Microsoft's upgrade system is sloppy, a pain in the tits, and he would have to install drivers etc. I do not think he would be interested in me talking him through a clean install of Windows 8.1 using an upgrade key either, also this would also break the budget.
