Intel Hd 4000 display issue

Hi guys.

First of sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Now, I have a HP 450 laptop with these spec

4GB ram
Intel HD 4000
Core i5 3210 @ 2.5
Windows 8.1 64 but


Recently I had my laptop repaired due to water damage. They replaced the display. It booted up all fine until I reached the desktop where it all went to hell.

The display started glitching and unable to play videos or games.

So I checked the vga cable, it was ok.
Then when I disabled the intel hd 4000 drivers everything was ok, except I can't play games, obviously.
I tried to update and reinstall the drivers still nothing.

Any help would be apprwciated.
