Solved! Intel i core 7 laptop cooling

Hello,

I am getting bits & pieces of information around that the core I7 laptops are having problems with cooling or has this been worked out. Also does anyone know anything about the large 18.4" Toshiba laptops? Any good?

It really depends on the brand in regard to cooling. Some had the cooling issue worked out long before the others. If you are really concerned, I recommend going with a newer i7, i.e. 740QM, etc... In regard to Toshiba, I haven't heard anything bad about their cooling (I have one and it stays rather cool with a C2D).
