i wanna built my own gaming pc
but i dont know which shall i choose.
I know they both are complete different from socket, ram to chip
which is better for gaming and which graphic card is better to play game in 720p-1080p max setting under 250$

Hi Pradeep

I would say the i5 6600k as it is only stronger by a small margin.

Also I would like to point out that these two are part of the K series (Unlocked) in so meaning you can overclock them.

If your not overclocking save your cash and get the non-K versions.

Hope this helps.

i5 4690k and i5 6600k, if you ignore what H170/Z170 have to offer and the DDR4 option, are practically the same.
i5 6600k is ignore-ably faster in any way, especially for gaming.

The best value GPUs are GTX970/R9 390 and GTX980Ti/Fury X. GTX970 and R9 390 are no longer far from USD250, I would try to get one of them.

The best price/performance processor, if you do not OC, if you do not need iGPU, is the Xeon E3-1231V3.
If you are on budget, get the cheapest among i5 4460, i5 4590 and i5 4690.

This is a very good $500 entry-level gaming build (720p-1080p-high settings). Money enough get the gtx970 instead for max settings.
