intel i7 7700HQ processor

hello guy i recently bought a laptop which cam fitted with an intel 7th generation i7 7700HQ processor capable of runing @ 2.80GHZ and its max speed is 3.80 GHz i was wondering how do you get ther cpu to run at its max speed.

Running turbo at maximum speed is based on how many cores are used. This are numbers for physical cores, with hyper threading you just double it.
3.4GHz with 4 cores used
3.6GHz with 2 cores
3.8GHz with 1 core
So maximum speed is based on application you use, unless you hit thermal limit, then frequency will go down to keep temperature down.
