Intel MOBO will not recognize Marantz NR1403

[puzzledshrug]

I know it is too much too read I just want to give any helper all the ammo I could muster.

I had this working OK at one time now I don't know what went wrong.

Win7 Pro does not even recognize my AVR.

I have another setup with a NR1603 (slightly higher end) and everything works as it should.

if change to a different CPU do you think this will help?
