intel xtu question

is intel xtu software safe to use? I have a asus rog maximus v11 hero board and a intel i5 4690k devils canyon cpu.

It's as safe to use as anything that will allow you to do dangerous things...
If you know how to monitor temps and how to notice if something goes wrong then yes it's safe,if you don't know what your doing then not so much.

all I'm going to be doing is monitoring temps etc. and running stress tests, no overclocking. ill do that in the bios.
