Interested in making Custom Android Phone (Combination of parts)

So I've been interested in making my own Android Smartphone, as it is open source. I was wondering if it would be possible to combine parts from different phones (The speakers from my HTC M8, the camera from another phone, etc) to make a Frankenstein of a phone. Also how hard would this be? I'm willing to put in the time, as i want to make my perfect phone. btu I need to know what I would be doing.

It's not the one which can't be done...

If your are master in programming and software design it quit easy..

Each spare has unique program so before your going to combine your custom mobile you have to find all the information about the physical component's logical information which includes platform and language of source code and all code should be rewrite some component does not have reprogrammable features then you can't use them..
