Hi guys,

I have read alot of threads about the static noise/interference. Although, I still haven't found the solution to my problem.

I bought 2 krk rokit 8 speakers and connected them through an double xlr to 3.5mm cable. When I connect them to my pc they make alot of buzzing and popping sounds which increase in volume if I open google chrome, or just use a program. When I play games (demanding applications) the noises become insanely hard and this ruins my overall experience.

I have read that it could be a grounding problem or unshielded cables, but I dont think that is the problem since when I connect the cable to my macbook the sound is perfect. I only get the noises when I connect the speakers to my PC.

I already checked if it was a grounding problem, it wasn't. I have updated my sound processor to the latest driver and I've connected another set of speakers which don't produce the noise, so its not a faulty soundcard.

I have no idea how to solve this problem, any help would be greatly appreciated

Your KRK have balanced inputs. Your Logitech did not. By using the 3.5mm to XLR cable to connect them you are grounding the signal minus to earth, When you connect them to the laptop it isolates them from earth even if you have the laptop on the charger.
One of these might help.
