I am using integrated graphics intel 4600
and nvidia GT 720M, my question is while on full load and playing games on nvidia gpu, why integrated graphics also heats up to the value greater than that of nvidia gpu???

Specs are:-
Integrated Graphics- Intel HD 4600
Discrete GPU- Nvidia GT 740M
CPU-Intel Core i5(4th gen)-4200M

While on full gaming the temp. are-
cpu(both cores)-82 degree max.
gpu(nvidia)-73 degree max
and intel hd 4600-85 degree max

My question is-
1. If the game is running on nvidia gpu then why the integrated graphics is getting too hot??
2. Are these temperatures safe??? Till what temperature i should consider it safe for long life as well?

Hello... 1) The IGT is part of the CPU Package and will reflect what the CPU is at... if you are not using it then you can disable it in your BIO's or in Windows Device manager.
2) Both temperatures are within the operating range of the chips.
3) 100C CPU and 80 GPU.
