This problem can be sorted out by easily by upgrading service pack from service pack2 to service pack3. The upgrade your ie6 to ie8 by downloading from microsoft site. I hope this will definitely work for you.

This is a very generalized error and can originate from any number of problems. Upgrading service packs or IE versions isn't necessarily the best resolution, especially if someone (a business, for example) only allows specific versions of IE to be used because of supported features and code.

I am closing this thread, but if you feel there is more information that can be added, send me a PM and it can be re-opened. This is simply too generic of a problem and the steps to correct it aren't the best solution.
