So , I recently built my own pc. I used windows 8's feature that automatically installs drivers. Now, the only problem is that the audio drivers aren't working. I tried uninstalling the drivers and re-installing them. Right when it was about to finish installing, it gave me an error that said;"0x00000003"

It could be possible that the realtek chip isn't compatible with windows 8. Just a guess because it sounds like you did things correctly. What realtek chip and/or MOBO model is it? Use this link to see if your mobo will work. [http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/win8/CompatCenter/ProductViewerWithDefaultFilters?TempOsid=win8&Locale=en-us&TextSearch=motherboard&Type=Both&CurrentPage=0&TotalPages=1&ShowCriteria=0&SortCriteria=Relevance&Compatibility=Unknown&LastRequested=14[/url]

Oh, and one more thing. Try using the Windows 7 drivers not 8.

Happy Listening, the Prisoner...
