Question iPhone 14 Plus

I looked at reviews before buying the 14 but evidently not enough. I was still using the 8plus. I read last night that the 14 screen shattered on first drop of about 3 feet. Review did not state if that was with case and screen protector? I haven’t taken phone out of the box. Should I return and get a different model?Thanks

Any phone can break under the right conditions. I would not let a single incident/review carry too much weight. If you like the phone otherwise, then use it.

Ok. Thanks. I’m one that drops phones. I just do. More than anyone I know. Anyway I bought a high rated case and looking for the best screen protector. I can’t ever decide as far as drop protection. Any suggestions?

I purchased iPhone 14 plus from Back Market. This is my 3rd phone purchased. Haven’t had any problems. I realize there are different companies involved. There is no contact info I can find on the website. Can’t find how to contact actual company that sold it to me through BM. BM has contact forms but don’t allow for any questions. Only to report actual condition of phone not general questions. I may be overreacting but that’s BS! Supposedly refunds are accepted. Should I return and buy from another refurbished store? Amazon doesn’t offer the 1 year warranty but prices for same phone were lower. Thanks in advance.
