lol @ facetime as industry standard, and when you mean industry standard you mean for people with iPhone v4 on wifi, question is can you use the cam on the iPhone v4 with the skype app

It's actually better than i expected it to be, it's now an above average smartphone, it's still lacking compared to other high end smartphones though (nokia's and such) if it was cheap it would be an attractive option but a 5 megapixel camera, multitasking and front facing camera is pretty standard now (all things my nokia n82 has had for 3 years)

720p video recording is nice (same as the nokia n8 but the nokia has dolby digital plus support) but i saw no mention of any kind of tv out, and recording in high def will eat storage fast so a microsd slot would be nice (every half decent phone has a memory card slot, come on apple)

But because this is an apple product it will of course get treated like it's some new kind of break through.

Oh look at me with my new iPhone, I can do all of these cool things when I'm at home on my WiFi network but when I go anywhere else I'm lucky if I can use it as a phone when I'm on the so called AT&T "3G"

Apple stock also fell a bit yesterday after it's announcement, since it wasn't nearly as "revolutionary" as investors thought it might be.

Still, I definitely like the aesthetics of the phone.

Guess I should clear up the above, it had trouble displaying sites, because he couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi network thanks to so many bloggers. lol

As well as the stock fell almost 2%, because it failed to impress, or at least that is what is speculated here:

The article is definitely spot on when they say it would have gained if they'd had announced support with Verizon.

Really looks like they cleaned up the design a lot. Nothing amazing/new to it, but in a way that's good because there is less early adopter syndrome.

Do some of you people read? This has been discussed all over. This is not ordinary glass. It is aluminosilicate glass used in helicopters and high speed trains. It is 20-30 stronger than plastic!

The HTC EVO provides me more value than this.

I'd just like to say that when u divide something in half, you have to equal parts... one part is not and cannot be larger than the other..if it is, it's not halved.
