Iphone 4 Verizon CDMA locked..HELP !

Hello everyone,

My aunt from US gave me an iphone 4 CDMA few days back which is locked to verizon US . She dint know that , so I wanna know what can be possibly done so that it can be used as an ipod . A thick ipod . No network .
N how can I get into the phone main screen . It says "Iphone is disabled , Connect to itunes" N when I connect it to itunes , it asks for the passcode and I dont know the passcode . Please help
