Canadians got tired of the high failure rate with the BB. Besides the cost near identical with most canadian carriers.

[citation][nom]soldier37[/nom]...75 million+ idiots. Get with the times its 2012 there are better phones out now...[/citation]

This guy is a genius! I think my niece who just turned 1 has more intelligence than you.

[citation][nom]otacon72[/nom]I need a device to text, email and is a great phone. BlackBerry does that better than any device out there. I wish I had to time to play Angry Birds on my phone. My company won't allow anything Android or Apple connect to its servers anyway.[/citation]

Unless of course it locks up (which it does) and you end up removing the battery to reset it. Also, you're company must be very poor at managing finances. One of the reasons companies are moving away from BB's is the cost to operate - both Android and Apple are cheaper as they don't need a BES between them and the Exchange server. We're moving away from BB to Android and it's a $400/yr savings per phone.

Maybe due to the fact Iphone 4 is under 50 Canadian Dollar with 3 years contact. (65 Canadian dollar monthly fee with shameful 500 mb ata. =__=)

I haven't meet anyone would own the phone outright without sign the stupid 3 years contact.

[citation][nom]xjoedisorderx[/nom]75+ million people?[/citation]

not sure what you mean, but the population of Canada is around 30 million

[citation][nom]tacoslave[/nom]If the blackberry blade comes out exactly like that then thats going to be my next phone, my dell venue pro seems to be the perfect combo of touchscreen and physical keyboard.[/citation]
RIM wouldn't put that phone I to production...it's too slick...too cool for them.

[citation][nom]_tuxuser_[/nom]Then RIM has joined Nokia, who has the same issue since Mr Elop wrote his "Burning platform" and it seems he did use petrol to try to extinguish the fire with and now no one wants to sell Nokia Lumia cellphones in Finland. The only selling Nokia cellphone is the N9 (for each sold Lumia there is 3 sold N9), but that is what you would expect, as it's not running WP7.[/citation]

Source, please?

[citation][nom]zak_mckraken[/nom]Shhhh... don't tell Americans that BB phones come from Canada, they'll stop buying them![/citation]
I'm American, and this fact just makes me want to buy a Blackberry more than I wanted to before.

TBH, Blackberries have been great for work. The physical keyboards can't be beat and RIM has more than enough models for all different tastes with the 9900/9930, 9810, and 9850 being really nice units. I'm not really looking forward to supporting iOS or Android devices in our Enterprise unless its just as easy or easier to do so. ...but I think RIM's got a new gadget to manage iOS, Android, as well as BB services. Most consumers don't want blackberries unless they just have to have a physical keyboard.
