as long as YOU are happy with it then nothing else really matters. since you bought one, plug it in and see if you are happy with the picture.

i've been happy so far with my sony bravia i bought a few years ago.
why would you want to view 1920x1080p content on a 1333x768 screen? there will obviously be quality loss. 1080p televisions are cheap nowdays so there is no excuse to not buy one.

actually i'm viewing standard def currently..my doubt is will SD picture will look better on a 1080p tv or a 1333x768 tv..

@op

standard def.... that is a hard call.

1920p is a 4x multiple of 480p which horizontally which on paper would seem to be a better choice.

1333 is not an even multiplier but is less of a scale. the trouble is that with it being an uneven scale there is going to be some quality loss. whether or not this is very noticible i'm not sure as i dont have a 1333 screen.

i have a 1080p screen myself and i do watch alot of standard definition content. granted i believe my ps3 upscales this a bit....but in general standard definition looks fine. or at least as good as i think it should look if you rememeber that this is only standard definition video.

so u say that 1333x768 is not a good res to hold with..actually i brought sony32bx350 today..at my price i saw two tv's lg32lk450 and sony32bx350 ..i believed sony will give best than lg so i brought it..
