They may be assembled in the US (or Mexico), but nearly all of the internal components are manufactured in Asia. That's true of every brand, major or minor: Dell, Gateway, HP, etc.

Basically, there isn't a way to "Buy American" when it comes to PC purchasing.

Unless a business is sufficiently small, there isn't a way to "Buy _______" anymore. The whole world is far too interconnected for that sort of thing.
