is it better to sli or not for 3ds max.

hello everyone,
im planing on getting a new graphics card solution since i do alot of gpu rendering. at the moment im thinking about getting 2 760s and sli them to increase my cuda core count, or i should just spend the equivalent amount of money on a 780. also what would help more for viewport performance.

No, you should not run multiple cards in SLI if you are CUDA rendering. Just install the cards without connecting them with SLI, and run them in parallel. That's what you do in Blender, at least.
