is it posible to upgrade my AMD processor of compaq preario cq57 to a better one??

i have been having this laptop from my childhood and i have a sentimental emotion towards it.recently it has slowed down.it has an AMD procesor.can somebody pleae tell me whether it is posible to upgrade my processor and ram??????????

You won't be able to upgrade a CQ57 by conventional means, as they all come with APUs that are soldered onto the motherboard. While it's technically possible to desolder them, I'm not in any way qualified to recommend or give advice on that. You're better off up cleaning up the OS or doing a new OS install if it's responsiveness you're looking for.

i ve tried cleaning up the OS many times already,i just want to know,if i can get a new processor or motherboard and ram for my laptop??

You can probably get a new motherboard with a better CPU if you're willing to disassemble your entire laptop. What's your current CPU? If you install CPU-Z and provide screenshots of both the CPU and memory tabs I'll have all the info I need.

look a the service manual. even if you upgrade the system board nothing worth upgrade to
