The Q Acoustics are better.

missions speakers, are pretty ugly too....

what sort of amplifier can I look into? or are they fine on their own, i have HTPC - 7.1 channel audio sound card

can them first, try them alone, with your sound card too if u want, if ure not satified then u can try looking into a amplifier, but i doubt u will need it.

Did they sound good to you?..if so the answer is yes, otherwise everything else is an opion. At the end of the day its your money, spend it on what sounded good to you. good luck.
