Is it worth waiting for the next-gen mobile GPUs?

Hello,

I'm looking for a mid-high end laptop ($1200-1700 CAD) which i will need for September; it will serve no purpose until then. I want to know if it is worth waiting to purchase the laptop, particularly with the timing of the next-gen Nvidia GPUs and Intel CPUs. Are these expected to be ready by the end of the month, and are they worth waiting for?

for the new pascal gpu yes it is there a lot faster and use less ram. for kurby lake cpu no. not much change over skylake.

How long can you wait for? the new gen GPU is fancy and real faster, however the GTX970M or 980M is good enough to play almost of game and these laptop just have good price right now.
