I heard a lot of things about JDownloader and I'm not sure if I can donwload it or not. I heard that it has malware, adware and trojans etc. Is it safe to download or should I stay away from it?

I need to download some files from a site called TropicShare. I don't have a premium account on that site so the downloads are very slow, so i read that JDownloader2 helps with that and that I can get my on speeds.
