Is my soundcard broken?

So today for some reason my sound is all messed up, it wasent yesterday and has never neen before.
But when i play a song or just audio in general it sometimes pauses for 0.3 secs or so and it also makes popping sounds when audio is on, it doesnt make the sound all the time just sometimes.
Its like having FPS lag for your audio and its really annoying please help!

One of the headseats were USB and the other was on board audio, the issue still remains.

Also i have tried resetting my PC to a time where audio worked and also tried using different headsets.

The onboard is the audio at the back of your motherboard
