Is Panasonic V750 good for all around use?

Hello!

I graduated from school yesterday and I got some money from relatives and from school.
I think I will invest it in a reasonably priced video camera (camcorder).

Do you guys think that the panasonic will be good for a family with a kid?

The reason I am leaning towards the Panasonic HC-V750EG-K is because of the 28Mbps recording, and the full hd slowmotion recording. It would be perfect when filming motocross competitions!

The price at 599€ here in EU is just appropriate.

Should I go for this one, or do you recommend any other model/brand?

The review was really good, I learned 2 new things:

1. The digital zoom is x1500 (Quite nice iff you want to use the camera as binoculars)
2. It has no night vision.. That made me wonderif thereare any other cameras in this price range with night vision.
