Definitely. I have a V5-561G, and it runs almost anything I throw at it just fine, due to the fact the screen is lower (but satisfactory) resolution that most machines these days and therefor the GPU has to do less work, and yours has a slightly better one. However, be warned about those RAM numbers. It means the graphics have priority access to one of the 4GB RAM cards. Mine supposedly has 10GB of RAM but it's really a 2GB card for graphics and an 8 for the system. That cpu will be more than enough for anything you'll concievably be doing. The battery life might be much better (mine is supposed to last 4 hours, but it typically estimates it'll last up to 6 hours). It's relatively light (i have an older, heavier one and i can lug it around all day just fine), and the build is pretty good
