Is the Gateway ML6720 compatible with a Core 2 Duo T8300?

Hello, I would like to know if I can upgrade my Gateway ML6720 with a Core 2 Duo T8300. I have seen this thread -http/www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/309410-28-gateway-laptop-upgrade- but I noticed that the t8300 has a higher TDP then what that board can supply, also the minimum voltage the board can supply is 0.075 volts higher than what then what the chip's is. I really don't want to fry the power supply board or even the whole laptop, can somebody help me out!
