Sorry for continuous questions but i have found some more detailed information on the psu and amp, included a manual and psu site which displays the information needed.

Heres the amp:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vibe-Bass-1-Mono-2400W-Max-Power-Amp-Car-Audio-Subwoofer-Amplifier-SPACE-B1-V2-/171302589806?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item27e26e156e

Heres the manual for the amp:

Heres the psu:

I assume that you will only be powering the amp with the PSU. You will need to use heavy gauge wire and an in-line fuse on the 12V power line. Consider the VIBE 8 ga wiring kit HERE or at least equivalent parts.

Take a look at THIS VIDEO for some basics on a much lower power amp.

well imo it should! the psu is rated for 1300 watts continuous. an amps rated for 1200 but the amp is only gonna draw that much under max power consumption.though i'm curious to why you'd be running a 1200 dc amp in house? lol

It's something that you could probably do but it will need some work on the power supply.
For starters, you need a reliable method to switch the power supply on or off, the paperclip method might be fine for a test but it is a bit heath robinson for long term use.
Second, and more importantly, you need to tie all the 12V supplies together as well as the ground/neutral cables. This may involve a rewire of the cabling to the power supply. Normally, in a car this is simply done by running single heavy duty cables directly to the battery (typically 60A+ cables). With a computer power supply it come out in the form of 20+ individual light cables (typically 4A cables).
