Is there a way other than factory data reset

My gallery,music and whatsapp has stopped working and I am receiving a message 'android media stopped' . How could l fix this problem without doing factory data reset

Do you have time before that message appears to migrate your data to the SdCard? If you can do that, you can use a carrier to save it to a PC or laptop.
