Is there a way to recover files on my Alienware laptop after a master reset?

Had my audio files for an interview backed up onto my laptop. I lost them at the original source and before that I had to do a master reset on my laptop. Is there anyway to get it back!?

Per the software's site, as long as a low level format wasn't done, there's a chance to get the data back. A reset should merely restore the OS and in doing so delete the file tables/index. The underlying data is still there. Then again, if some destructive wipe was run, not so much.

Given that the point of a reset is to quickly get the system back in operation, I doubt it is more than a quick format.

Windows only takes 20-30GB so on a reasonably large drive that leaves a lot of wiggle room for intact files.
J_E_D_70 ... That would work if there was somewhere they had them that had that ability. They had say been deleted on accident. But if the computer was completely reset, they are gone. The location on the hard drive they were on is most likely been overwritten with new data. Can't get old data back once that has happened.
